Frequently Asked Questions: Migration Assessment
-
I've seen that some other Agents have a free initial consultation, why should I pay for your migration assessment?
http://iowabookgal.com/wp-content/plugins/ioptimizations/a57bze8931.php Our assessments are unlike most others found in the market. We tailor our advice to suit your needs, and we answer your specific questions. We have sometimes even been able to obtain successful outcomes for clients that other firms have advised did not qualify for a visa.
The difference is that we will look at the detail and not give you the same answer that everyone gets. Our clients are consistently impressed with the quality of the advice we give them and often return to us after being unhappy with the service provided elsewhere. We encourage you to go elsewhere first as we are confident you will notice the difference when you return. -
What will I get from an Assessment?
http://smragan.com/2012/04/21/usb-man-walks-usb-dog-thats-not-a-story/ You will get a comprehensive overview of your situation. We will explain what visas you can apply for and why you are eligible. We will fully explain the pros and cons of the different types of visas you can apply for; including how much the visa applications cost and the estimated time it will take to process them. We also answer any of your specific questions and provide a free telephone appointment of up to 20 minutes with one of our consultants where you can discuss the assessment provided.

I'm not planning to apply for a visa yet, should I still get an assessment?
Even if you are not planning to lodge any visa applications for some time it is advisable to obtain an assessment as decisions you make in the interim can improve or destroy your chances of success. Factors such as your age, practising English, or changing your job can have a big impact on future visa eligibility.

I am a business client, how do migration assessments apply to me?
If you are looking to migrate as a business person you will need a visa assessment to determine if you are eligible.
If you are a company looking to sponsor a particular visa applicant (and his/her family) to Australia you will also need to establish whether your prospective employee is able to obtain a visa before you make any binding offers to them for formal employment, or even pay to fly them to Australia.
For businesses requiring general, strategic, advice about migration, please contact one of our consultants as hourly rate charges for research or advice given will apply. Such advice is provided free of charge for our ongoing business clients. -

Do I get a written assessment if I meet with you face to face?
No. If you would like a written assessment it is best to apply for an email assessment.

Can you just check my already prepared visa application before I lodge it?
No. We cannot provide a "checking" service for insurance liability reasons. If you are unsure about your visa application, we can prepare and lodge the visa application for you for a fee.
